Overnight stay in Ait Bouguemez.

After breakfast, spend the day discovering the landscapes and communities of Ait Bouguemez.

Begin with a visit to Tabant, the principal village in the valley. Explore its local streets, small shops, agricultural surroundings, and traditional market area.

Continue with an optional guided walk between nearby villages. The route may pass earth-built houses, wheat and barley fields, apple orchards, irrigation channels, and cultivated terraces surrounded by mountains.

Depending on your interests, visit a traditional collective granary situated above the valley. These fortified structures were historically used by local families to protect food, documents, jewelry, and other valuable possessions.

A traditional lunch with a local family can be arranged upon request. This experience provides an opportunity to discover regional food and learn more about everyday life in the High Atlas.

During the afternoon, continue exploring the valley or visit a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the surrounding villages, agricultural fields, and mountain peaks.

Second overnight stay in Ait Bouguemez.

After breakfast, leave Ait Bouguemez and travel toward Azilal through the mountain landscapes of the central High Atlas.

The route passes traditional communities, deep valleys, cultivated terraces, and wide mountain viewpoints. Flexible stops can be arranged for photographs and refreshments along the way.

Pass through Azilal, a regional town located between several of Morocco’s most important natural attractions, before continuing toward Ouzoud Waterfalls.

Upon arrival, begin exploring the area surrounding the waterfalls. Follow the walking paths through olive groves and stop at several viewpoints offering different perspectives of the cascading water and valley below.

Continue toward the lower section of the waterfalls, passing traditional watermills, cafés, and small local shops. Depending on local conditions, an optional short boat experience may be arranged with an authorized operator.
