Day 1: Fes Airport Pick-Up – Accommodation In Fes
Upon arrival at Fes Airport, your driver will welcome you and transfer you comfortably to your riad or hotel. The rest of the day is reserved for relaxation after your journey. You may choose to take a short walk nearby to experience your first impressions of this historic city before settling in for the evening.
Day 2: Guided Tour In Fes
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a full-day exploration of Fes. Begin in Fes el-Bali, the UNESCO-listed medina, entering through Bab Boujeloud and walking along Talâa Kebira with its lively souks and artisan workshops.
Visit the famous Chouara Tannery, where traditional leather-making techniques are still practiced, then continue to Fes el-Jdid to see the Al Attarine Madrasa with its beautiful tilework and carved wood. From the Mellah (Jewish quarter), enjoy panoramic views over the medina. If time allows, explore the Ville Nouvelle to see the contrast between old and modern Fes.
Return to your accommodation in the evening.
Day 3: Fes – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen
Today you leave Fes and travel north through the scenic Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen. The drive offers beautiful mountain scenery and views of traditional rural villages.
Upon arrival in the Blue City, you will have time to explore its charming streets lined with blue-painted houses and artisan shops. Visit the peaceful spring of Rass el Ma where fresh mountain water flows through small traditional mills.
In the late afternoon, consider walking up to the Spanish Mosque to enjoy a spectacular view of Chefchaouen and the surrounding mountains, especially at sunset. In the evening, relax in Outa el Hammam square surrounded by cafés and restaurants. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.
Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Ifrane – Midelt
Depart Chefchaouen and travel to Volubilis, the impressive Roman archaeological site known for its well-preserved mosaics and ancient monuments dating back centuries. A guided visit reveals the importance of this settlement during the Roman period.
Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and former capital under Sultan Moulay Ismail. Here you will visit the impressive Bab Mansour gate and explore the historic royal granaries.
Later, continue to Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” thanks to its European-style architecture and clean streets. A stop in the nearby cedar forest allows you to observe Barbary macaques before continuing to Midelt for overnight stay.
Day 5: Midelt – Middle Atlas Mountains – Ziz Valley – Sahara Desert
Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Berber villages and dramatic landscapes. As the journey continues, the scenery changes when you reach the fertile Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and date plantations.
In the late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, located near the majestic dunes of the Sahara Desert. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner accompanied by Berber music while experiencing the peaceful desert atmosphere.
Day 6: Desert Exploration – Nomads – Camel Trekking – Overnight Camp
After breakfast, begin a 4×4 desert excursion. Visit an old kohl mine and meet nomadic families who live in traditional desert tents, offering insight into their daily life and culture.
Continue to the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa musicians who perform traditional spiritual music. After lunch and a short walk through nearby palm groves, return to your hotel to relax.

Day 7: Merzouga – Arfoud – Todgha Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel and continue the journey toward the Dades Valley.
Stop in Arfoud to visit a fossil workshop before traveling through palm groves toward Todgha Gorge. Here you can explore the dramatic canyon walls rising high above the valley floor.
Continue to the Dades Valley where you will admire the famous “Monkey Fingers” rock formations before arriving at your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8: Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
Travel through the Rose Valley and the Skoura palm oasis before reaching Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa.” You may visit the famous film studios before continuing to Ait Ben Haddou.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and has appeared in many international films. After exploring the kasbah, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass with scenic stops along the way.
Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and transfer to your accommodation.
Day 9: Explore Marrakech With Local Guide
Today you will explore Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the lively Jemaa el-Fna square, the Koutoubia Mosque (exterior), the Saadian Tombs, and the beautiful Bahia Palace.
Walk through the bustling souks of the medina where artisans sell traditional crafts. In the afternoon, visit the Majorelle Garden and discover the modern districts of the city.
Enjoy the evening at leisure while experiencing the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna square.
Day 10: Marrakech To Essaouira
Travel west toward the Atlantic coast to the city of Essaouira. Along the road you may see goats climbing the branches of argan trees.
Once in Essaouira, explore the medina with its white walls and blue shutters, visit the historic ramparts, and stroll along the harbor. Relax by the sea or explore artisan shops before overnight stay.
Day 11: Essaouira – Atlantic Coast – Casablanca
Drive north along Morocco’s Atlantic coastline toward Casablanca. Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture partly built above the ocean.
Overnight stay in Casablanca.
Day 12: Casablanca – Airport Transfer
