Itinerary For: 10 Days Tour From Fes To Tangier
Day 1 – Fes To Merzouga (sahara Desert)
Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Fes as you travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. The route passes through forested landscapes and elevated plateaus before reaching the town of Midelt, known for its apple orchards and mineral resources.
Continuing south, the scenery gradually changes as you enter the Ziz Valley. Here, long stretches of palm groves follow the river, creating a striking contrast against the surrounding desert cliffs and rocky terrain.
By the afternoon, you will arrive in Merzouga, located at the edge of the Sahara Desert. From here, begin a camel trek across the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets, the sand takes on beautiful shades of gold and red. Upon reaching your desert camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner accompanied by Berber music under a clear star-filled sky.
Day 2 – Merzouga Desert Exploration
Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes — one of the most magical moments of the desert experience.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the Sahara region. Visit the village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa musicians whose traditions originate from sub-Saharan Africa. A 4×4 excursion allows you to discover hidden oases, fossil areas, and nomadic settlements, offering a deeper understanding of desert life.
Return to your camp in the afternoon to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As evening approaches, gather around the campfire for dinner, traditional music, and stargazing in the quiet desert night.
Day 3 – Merzouga To Todra Gorge And Dades Valley
After breakfast, depart Merzouga and travel toward Todra Gorge. This impressive canyon, carved by the Todra River, is known for its towering limestone cliffs that rise dramatically on both sides of the narrow valley.
After exploring the gorge and enjoying the scenery, continue toward the Dades Valley, often called the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” The region features unique rock formations and historic fortified villages scattered throughout the valley.
Dinner and overnight stay in a comfortable hotel in the Dades Valley.
Day 4 – Dades Valley, Ouarzazate, And Ait Benhaddou To Marrakech
After breakfast, continue toward Ouarzazate, a city famous for its connection to international film productions and often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco.”
Along the way, visit the remarkable Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. Its traditional earthen architecture has been used as a filming location for many movies and television series.
After exploring the kasbah, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass. The winding road offers stunning views of mountain landscapes and Berber villages. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon for an overnight stay.

In the afternoon, experience the vibrant atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa square, filled with storytellers, musicians, performers, and street food stalls. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
